Effective 1 October 2026

In short: VibeVault is provided free, as is. Your data is yours and stays on your computer. Keep your recovery key safe: without it, backups cannot be restored.

1. Agreement

By installing or using VibeVault (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The app

VibeVault is a desktop application for Windows that organises your tools and links, launches programs you configure, tracks subscriptions you enter and can back up your workspace to your own Google Drive.

3. Your data and your responsibility

• You own everything you enter. It is stored on your computer; see the Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for keeping your computer, your app-lock password and your backup recovery key safe. A lost recovery key cannot be recovered by anyone, and backups encrypted with it cannot be opened.
• Programs, scripts and links you add and launch run under your account. Only add things you trust.

4. Subscriptions, prices and reminders

VibeVault does not process payments. Renewal dates, totals, forecasts and reminders are calculated from what you enter and from public exchange rates, and may be inaccurate. Always check with the service you pay.

5. Google Drive

Backups use your own Google account and are subject to Google's terms. You can disconnect at any time. Access is limited to the files the app creates, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law or to break the terms of the services you connect it to.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Keep your own backups of important data.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of or inability to use the app.

9. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated; the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and deleting its data folder.
